Larry's been playing keyboards, guitars, drums, dulcimer, and making various sorts of noise since the second grade.

Musical influences include Burton Cummings, Elton John, Keith Emerson, Rick Wakeman, Loudon Wainwright III, Tangerine Dream, Phillip Glass, Harry Nillson, The Bobs, Frank Zappa, and just about every musician who ever lived. He's got a LOT of CDs. (As well as casettes, LPs, and digital downloads)

Larry performs with the Walter Beeyt Project in Los Osos, CA in the guise of Art Trout and has been with a litany of infamous bands including P-50, Armageddon, Castro and The Cadillacs, Cool Ray and the Shades, and Little Larry and the Skeletones. His cover of "On The Rocks" appeared on the Loudon Wainwright III birthday tribute album.

In other parts of his life he has written the musicals Hula Hoop Sha-Boop, Psychedelic Sundae, and directed over 100 new plays and musicals. He is the director of the consulting firm Troutco where he organizes special events, designs web pages, and helps people with their Macs.
